Half Marathon Pace Charts

The half marathon, 13.1 miles, is a wonderful distance. Possible for the amateur to train for in a relatively short amount of time, yet still long enough in distance that it will push boundaries and allow the runner to go deep and test their mental strength. The gold standard for amateurs is sub 1:30, which is a spicy pace of 6:52 minutes per mile. The men’s and women’s world records stand at 57:31 (Jacob Kiplimo) and 1:02:52 (Letesenbet Gidey) respectively.
